Oxford Dictionary defines the word “satisfy” like this: meet the expectations, needs, or desires of; to fulfill a desire or need.
What do you need for your heart to be satisfied?
Romance? Nicer house? Well-behaved children? A handsome and thoughtful husband/boyfriend? A better career? A better figure?
True satisfaction can only come from the One who created us, loves us, and saved us.
Things of this world will let us down. Nothing can truly satisfy our souls like Jesus. He offers forever love. He offers forgiveness. He offers hope. He offers life. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
I want to encourage us all to invest our time into knowing and loving God more than we invest in anything else…..even ministry.
ONLY CHRIST CAN TRULY SATISFY OUR HEARTS.
