Are you thankful that God promises to finish what He started in you?

When you received His Son, Jesus, He instantly saved you and provided justification. However, sanctification is ongoing. The good news is that He gave us His Holy Spirit so we can have the power to become more like Jesus. I am very thankful that it’s not all up to me to become more like Jesus. God gives us His Spirit to help guide, convict, change and lead us.

Philippians 1:6 is great news to me.

So, have you ever just blown it? Have you ever said or did something that you regretted instantly? Have you ever made a bad choice or mistake that you feel you can never recover from?

As God’s child, there is always hope. He WILL finish the work He began in your heart and life.

Satan wants you to doubt, fear, worry, walk in shame and run from God.

God wants you to repent and receive His forgiveness. He will forgive you….He has paid the price. (1 John 1:9)

Satan wants you to feel you have to “work” your way back to God.

God has already did the work and made the Way for you to come back to right relationship with Him. Run TO Him……not FROM Him.

This Thanksgiving week, I am so thankful for God’s grace, mercy, love and forgiveness. Aren’t you? 💙
