What “weight” holds us back from serving and loving the Lord?

Self-awareness?
Fear of man?
A dark past?
Hateful words spoken over you?
Anxiety?
Depression?
Fear of rejection or judgement?
Doubting God’s love?

What sin often entangles us and keeps our focus off of Jesus?

Unforgiveness?
Trying to control?
Jealousy?
Gossip?
Lust?
Pride?
Slander?
Discontent?
Loving something or someone more than God?

We are encouraged in Hebrews to get rid of anything that is hindering us from running this race for God’s glory.  God will supply the strength, but He is waiting for us to desire His love, power and Spirit more than any cheap substitution this world can offer.  He’s all we need!💙
