I am so thankful for God’s kindness and grace.

There was a time in my 20’s when it seemed  that I made one giant mistake after another.  I ended up in a very broken place.  However, it was there that God’s grace healed my broken heart and gave me hope again!

He is such a good, kind and loving Father.   What a relief to know He still loves me even when I mess up. On the other hand, my heart’s growing desire is to mess up less and less.

The truth is His grace should lead us to repentance, not make us more comfortable in our sin. Sometimes we deceive ourselves into thinking that because He is a merciful and graceful God, our sin does not hurt him.  

The whole reason behind His loving mercy is His desire to help us become Holy…not for us to fulfill all our fleshy desires at the expense of His heart.

Thank you Lord for Your kindness and mercy.   Help me to submit to you with a tender and repentant heart.
