As a Christian, we are Christ’s friend.

Jesus is the best friend a girl (or guy) could have. He loves us with a perfect love. He’s not fickle; He’s the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) In Christ, you truly have a forever friend.

I don’t know anyone that has never experienced some sort of rejection in their lives. However, some have experienced such deep rejection that it’s hard to grasp the steadfast love of Jesus. People reject other people for all kinds of reasons. Rejection hurts. When friends or family reject you, it leaves a deep wound that when covered up, can truly cause lots of heartache and bad decisions for years to come.

However, when you take the pain of rejection to the Lord and remember who you are in Christ, true healing and freedom can begin. Sometimes it’s a process; working through forgiving those that have hurt us and asking God to expose any lies we are believing. However, God is faithful and as you seek Him, He will carry you through the healing journey and firmly establish your identity and value in Christ.

Let this truth encourage you: In Christ, You are His friend and you will never be rejected by Him. Now, that’s good news!!💚
