I think everyone wants to be loved. I know I want to be loved. I want to be loved by my family and friends and even people that don’t know me well. Some people say they don’t care whether they are loved or not, but their lifestyles say differently. They seem to be searching for love and admiration in everything they do from social media posts to the way they dress.

As a Christian, we are to live from a position of already being loved. Christ loves us with His unfailing love. Webster says unfailing love is without error or fault. He knows what we need and when we need it. He loves us deeply and completely. His love is perfect.

Nothing or no one can give us the perfect love that Christ offers. We can fight against it or embrace it. When we receive God’s love for personally, it changes how we live. We aren’t driven to find love, we are already complete in the love of Christ.
