Is God calling you to do something that the world may call foolish?

Is God calling you to care more about the condition of your heart then your pocketbook or what the mirror reflects back to you?

Is God calling you to repent from a behavior that has resulted from a label you’ve had all your life?

Is God calling you to step back from a ministry, a position, or a toxic relationship that is pulling you away from Him?

Is God calling you to base your value and identity in Christ only and not your service, performance or popularity?

Walking in the Spirit and surrendering our lives to God, most always go opposite with what is popular in this world. Sometimes even our Christian friends don’t understand. However, putting Christ first in our life and being obedient to Him is the only way to true freedom.

Take a minute and ask yourself where you look to find your value and identity?

Your spouse?

Your parents?

Your friends?

Your workmates?

Your classmates?

Christ Jesus?

Father, help us today to fix our eyes on Jesus, die to self and be obedient to your calling. 🧡
