Prophets of old foretold the coming of the Messiah and the Jews were looking for Him to come for many centuries.

Perhaps people were expecting their Messiah to come in power and majesty with a spectacular arrival. However, God’s son arrived as a tiny dependent baby born in a manger. Many Jews rejected God’s perfect plan because it didn’t look like they expected.

God keeps His promises….always. Sometimes God’s promises come differently than we expect. We may be expecting an answer to our prayers to look a certain way and when they don’t, we start to doubt.

Trusting God is about trusting in HIS heart and character more than what we see with our eyes and hear with our ears. Trusting the Lord is putting your whole life in His hands and believing His Word.

Maybe this Christmas season things are not as you thought they would be. Perhaps you have been praying and asking God for something and it seems the opposite is happening.

God is STILL in control. God is STILL faithful and He is lovingly guiding your life according to His plan. Trust Him even when things don’t look the way you hoped they would look right now. God keeps His promises and you can stand on that! 💛
