Holy Spirit

Thessalonians is a letter written by the apostle Paul and his helpers to the Church in Thessalonica. This letter is full of encouragement and instruction on how to live for Christ. In verses 16 through 18 we are told to rejoice always, pray always and give thanks in all circumstances. In verse 19 we are warned not to stifle (quench or extinguish) the Holy Spirit.

Walking and living in the Holy Spirit is the only way to carry out God’s will in our lives. However, when we stifle or push out the Holy Spirit in our daily lives, we leave ourselves weak and powerless.

The Holy Spirit is God and part of the Trinity. We cannot live the Christian life on our own without the Holy Spirit’s power working inside us. We must be careful not to disregard the Spirit’s leading and power.

Comment below and tell me some ways in which we, as God’s daughters, quench the Holy spirit in our lives?

Praying❤️
