Seasons of Mourning

Times of mourning and sadness will come. Ecclesiastes 4 tells us that there will be seasons of grief and sorrow. Jesus told us in John 14 that in this world we will have trouble, however, to take heart (be encouraged) and BELIEVE in Him because through Him we can overcome just as He has.

How can we stay hopeful when our hearts are breaking?

First, don’t forget that you are loved by a perfect Heavenly Father and not only that, you are never alone. Psalm 34:18 tells us: The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and crushed in spirit. He is near even if we feel abandoned. BELIEVE HIS WORD.

Secondly, remember that just as times of mourning come, they also go. There will be better days. On the other hand, don’t wait for those better days to place your hope and trust in Christ. Praise Him right now….IN the storm, and not just after it.

Our God is faithful, loving, redeeming, and mighty. He finishes what He starts and He is holding you in the palm of His hand. (John 10:28)

On this earth, we will experience sadness and you may need to work through a season of loss and grief. However, in Christ we don’t have to grieve as those that have no hope. JESUS is our hope and no matter what season we are in, He will be with us the whole way.💜
