Things are not always as they seem. On the outside we can look defeated. However, as Christians, on the inside we have already won the battle. If we look at our circumstances, we may not see any hope. If we look to Jesus and His finished work on the cross, we already have the victory.

What are you looking at in your life that causes discouragement and a sense of hopelessness? Things change when you move your focus from earthly things to the King of Kings. We can’t see all that the Lord is doing and where He’s moving. However, He keeps His promises and what we see here on earth is not the final picture.

I pray that we keep our focus on the eternal love of Jesus. I pray that we choose to believe His Word over our feelings or even what we can see with our eyes. He is faithful. My prayer is that we all stay faithful to Him and His Word.
