What are you anxious about today?

I love today’s verse. We are reminded that when our focus is on and our trust is in Christ, our heart and mind is guarded by HIS peace.

Picture a Dad protecting his little son from a rabid and angry barking dog. The Dad stands in between the little boy and the dog as the scared young boy runs to safety. But that’s not all….the Dad continues to stand there, arms stretched out, protecting until the enemy leaves.

God’s peace protects our minds from endless worry. His peace protects our hearts from hopeless doubting. As we keep our focus on Christ… praying, thankfully praising Him and believing His Word…He protects and shields us by His peace.

We have a choice….try to take on that enemy of worry by ourselves…or let God handle it.
