A Green & Fruitful Tree

Do you ever feel like if only your circumstances changed or got better then you could be your best? You are waiting on everything to be and feel just right and when the circumstances are bad, you lose hope.

I’ve got good news!!

We don’t have to wait until our circumstances change!

The Bible tells us through Jeremiah 17 that those who put their hope in the Lord are not only blessed but they are like a tree planted by an endless supply of water where it’s roots can drink freely. That tree may be in extreme heat or even a drought and not only does it stay green, it even bears fruit!! When we are trusting God and connected to His never ending flow of His Spirit, we can thrive regardless what is thrown our way.

However, in the same chapter, verses 5-6 tell us that when we turn away from Christ and trust in ourselves or others, we are not only unprepared for what may come, but will be as stunted shrubs.

Stunted shrub or a green and fruitful tree?

I want to be a healthy and fruitful tree! What about you? ๐Ÿงก
