How do you feel when you look into the mirror?

Are you happy with what you see?

When I look into the mirror, I don’t just see the outside. I see someone that worries about my children…..someone that struggles with whether or not I get any likes on social media…..someone that is tempted to find my comfort in food…..someone that expects more out of myself than I am able to give…..someone that struggles with believing the truth over emotions.

BUT GRACE.

God looks at me through the lens of redemption. As a new creation in Christ He sees only righteousness. His Son, Jesus, paid the price for my redemption. He sees a work in progress…not a failure. He sees someone that is weak and needy that must have His strength. He sees His daughter and He loves me….just as I am. He’s patient. He’s kind. He’s Holy. He’s loving. He’s righteous. He’s mighty. He’s my Father. In His eyes, I am beautiful.
