Last night I woke up to hear howling winds and pouring rain beating against my window. Lights flickered until they finally went out. One minute I was sleeping soundly, the next minute I was in the middle of a strong storm that resulted in darkness.

Isn’t that how it happens in life? Things can be smooth and uneventful one day and out of seemingly nowhere a problem arises. Are we ready for life’s storms? Are we anchored and secure or are we tossed around each time the winds of life blow?

Jesus offers us security and stability no matter what is going on. He is our stable Rock. He doesn’t change with the seasons. He is faithful to His Word.

I want to encourage you to get into His Word today. Store His truth in your heart. Build your life upon it! Here are a few places to start:
